The menu changes daily featuring North American Midwest regional cuisine that employs indigenous and cultivated ingredients from the American and Canadian Midwest to create two fixed price tasting menus along with a wide variety of à la carte selections every evening.  Meats, fishes and vegetables are prepared, cured or preserved on-site, and all of our pastries and breads are created daily in the restaurant's pastry kitchen Large parties are welcome, and private events may choose to reserve the dining room for the entire evening for a required minimum charge.  Special menus can be designed to suit specific requirements. Heartland also accepts reservations for large parties not requiring a private room with little or no restrictions.

The kitchen sources all of its ingredients from small family farmers and artisanal producers who practice sustainable agricultural methods.  Heartland is committed to the preservation of the farm family way of life as well as to responsible stewardship of our farmland and resources.  We hope that people will begin to appreciate how the food choices we make today will affect the quality of our lives and the overall well-being of our planet in years to come.
